Changing Blogger Post URL (Permalink Save Issue)

You may notice that the Blogger custom permalink won't change after publishing. There seems to be a bug in the autosave feature. The workaround is to trigger autosave twice after you change the permalink, just to be sure.

  1. Set custom permalink.
  2. Make small changes to the post, e.g. add labels, add a whitespace character.
  3. Wait for autosave
  4. Make another small change and wait for autosave.
  5. Publish your post.
