Tips on how to keep your blog content fresh.
Filter Posts By Updated Date
There's this feature called search operators that you can use to search for older posts. Specifically in this case, you would want to search for posts that have not been updated for a long time.
Let's say you want to search posts that have not been updated since the start of the year. Enter the following search query in Blogger dashboard:
end_updated_date:2025-01-01
Create A Separate Post for Revisions
Each time you want to draft a revision, follow this steps:
Create a new post with the same title.
Insert a link to edit the original post at the very top.
Label both posts as
watchlist
or any label name you like.Add a chat emoji (💬) to the original post, right at the end of post summary, before the "read more" separator, so that you know it has a revision draft.
Now you can start writing the revisions. When it's ready, publish the finished part to the original post.
